Jim Robinson has been providing assistance to the senior community since 2007 and has been involved with the Walk to End Alzheimer's, Older Adult Policy Council and the Northstate Senior Resource Council. Jim saw a need for placement assistance when it came time to place his mother-in-law who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and opened Senior Care Solutions in 2013.
We meet with Seniors and their families to do an assessment of their needs. Physical, emotional, mental and social. We then discuss options for facility size and the level of care provided as well as location and suitability.
While most Seniors pay for Assisted Living from their own resources there may be assistance available if the have long term care insurance or are a Veteran or the surviving spouse of a Veteran.
Once the needs assessment is complete we then arrange for tours as several facilities then discuss the differences helping them decide which one is best suited for them.
We provide the Senior and family with a "Physician's Report for Residential Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) that needs to be completed prior to placement. We also provide any other documents that may be required by the different facilities.
